Day 17 -- a dummy run

If you're a Florida runner, you know that in the summer you need to get out before 10am or after 7pm or it's gonna be too dang hot to run (unless it's raining). I know this, so I have no excuse for leaving the house this morning at 11am for a 4.5 mile Dummy Run. But I did it anyway.

In my defense I did at least wear sunscreen.

And it was a good run -- even an incredibly hot, sweaty run is better than no run at all.

Incidentally, I have figured out the 'right' spots for me to wear the two Slim Belly belts. The first one, that has the massage action, you put on first. I wear it kinda low so it hits my belly and hips where I need it most. The second has the battery/air pump pack on it. I wear that higher so the battery pack sits at the small of my back. It keeps it more secure and doesn't bop at all when I run or do anything else bouncy.

This means I am covering up more of my body which traps the heat in a little more, making a run like this a bit hotter, probably. But it's what works for me.
